What is changing and why are these changes being made?Starting August 11, 2010, Sound will make Online BillPayer available from within Online Banking. After this date you won't need to log on separately to view your account activity and pay your bills. Simply log onto Online Banking and click the link for Online BillPayer on the left to start paying bills instantly. All of your BillPayer settings will remain the same, you will not need to reset any of your payees or reschedule any existing payments.
Sound chose to make this change after listening to feedback from our members. It's our goal to provide you the most convenient access possible, so should you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please contact us by phone, email, or in-person at your local branch. Contact Sound Credit Union Why do I need to re-agree to the BillPayer terms and conditions?Sound has made a few slight changes to the BillPayer agreement. Both new and current BillPayer users will be asked to agree to the new terms and conditions before being able to access their account. Will I need to reset any of my settings or payees after this change over?No, all of your settings and payees will remain the same after Online BillPayer moves inside Online Banking.
I have existing payments scheduled in my Online BillPayer account. Will I need to reschedule them?No. All of your account and payment information within Online BillPayer will remain the same. We are only changing where Online BillPayer is located, not how it operates.
Will my login information change now that Online BillPayer has moved?With this change, you will no longer need your Online BillPayer login information. You will however need to have your Online Banking login information available. Once you have logged into Online Banking, just click on the link for Online BillPayer to be automatically connected to your account and start paying bills.
If you don't currently have an Online Banking account, contact Sound Credit Union by phone or in-person and ask to have an Online Banking account set up for you. Contact Sound Credit Union I have multiple Sound Credit Union accounts from which I pay bills. When paying bills within Online Banking, how do I know which account I am pulling funds from?Each account at Sound is connected to a specific member number. If you'd like to make a payment from a specific checking account, you must first log into Online Banking using the member number associated with this account. Once logged in, select the link for Online BillPayer on the left, and select "Pay Bill" from the menu bar to begin paying bills. Using the drop-down menu, you can select the specific checking account from which you would like to pull funds.
To easily identify the checking accounts included in your membership account, its recommended that you use the "Account Nickname" option available under the Home tab. How do I sign up for an Online BillPayer account?After logging into your Online Banking account, simply click on the link for Online BillPayer on the left side of your screen. After selecting "I agree" to the service terms and conditions, your account will automatically be made available. All you need to do is set up a list of payees and any automatic payments you would like to make.
What if I don't currently have an Online Banking account?Signing up for Online Banking is easy! Just call our Contact Center or visit one of our local branches and ask to have Online Banking added to your account. This is a free service for all Sound Credit Union members allowing access to your account information from anywhere at any time.
Contact Sound Credit Union Once you have an Online Banking account, if you choose to use our free Online BillPayer service, all you need to do is open the link on the left-hand side, and your account information will automatically be available. All you'll need to do is set up a list of payees and schedule any payments. Why am I being redirected when I try to log onto Online BillPayer?Because Online BillPayer is moving into Online Banking, the original BillPayer URL will no longer work. During this transition time, we will redirect this page to the Online Banking login page. Please be sure to change any bookmarks you may have for the old Online BillPayer URL to this new web address. You can also access this page by visiting Sound's home page, soundcu.com and clicking on the link for Online Banking at the top of the page.
If I experience any issues with Online Banking or Online BillPayer, who do I need to contact?Should you experience any issues with either Online Banking or Online BillPayer, please use the email form available on our Contact Us page and select either "Online Banking" or "Online BillPayer" from the drop down menu. A representative from Sound Credit Union will get back with you within 48 hours. You may also contact our after-hours Online BillPayer Support at 800-301-1123.
What additional technical changes do I need to make?Your pop-up blocker needs to be set to allow 'https://global1.onlinebank.com/' and 'https://mc.telcocu.com'.
