Coverage for the unexpectedOne Free Overdraft Every Year. Really. You can choose from one or more of these easy-access options: Automatic transfer from savings to checking. Should an overdraft occur funds from your savings account will be transferred to cover the draft for a minimal fee of $5 per transfer. Line of credit or Visa transfer to checking. Should an overdraft occur, the funds are automatically taken from your available line of credit or Visa balance for the amount of the draft and transferred to your checking account. Interest is charged daily on the transferred amount. No fee is charged. Courtesy Pay is available to most checking account holders. Should you overdraw your account for any reason, we may cover the overdraft and any associated fee up to your Courtesy Pay privilege amount, $500 or $1,000. Your account will be charged the standard Courtesy Pay fee for handling each item paid by Courtesy Pay. There is no monthly service fee. This notice does not constitute either a written agreement of an obligation, or a pre-arranged agreement for Sound Credit Union to pay your overdrafts. Payments of any overdraft (s) will continue at the discretion of Sound Credit Union. Sound will suspend Courtesy Pay service if the account stays in a negative balance or if the pay amount is larger than the privelege amount limit. The Courtesy Pay service may be withdrawn at any time. Courtesy Pay fee is $25. A Courtesy Pay fee will be assessed for every check, ATM withdrawal, electronic funds transfer or other debit that draws your account negative. Items are paid in the order they are received. You then have up to 30 days from your first overdraft to bring your account current. All fees associated with the payment of overdraft items will be applied to the Courtesy Pay limit. At any time, you may choose to remove the Courtesy Pay service by calling Sound Credit Union's Contact Center at (253) 383-2016 or (800) 562-8130 and requesting that the service be cancelled.1Upon request, every checking account is eligible for one overdraft fee reversal per calendar year.
