Sound has teamed up with several local credit unions to sponsor a high school financial literacy program called Credit University. Given by a former Department of Financial Institutions (DFI) educator the program promotes financial responsibility, increasing personal saving, the importance of good credit, and identity theft prevention.
After completing an interactive online quiz, participating students are eligible to come into a sponsoring credit union branch and receive $25 when they open a new savings account. Here are the details:
