The right start for smart young savers

The Johnny Appleseed Junior Ecology Club is designed to encourage regular savings habits. It's available to children up to age 13. An opening deposit of $5 and their own Social Security number are all that are required to open the account. When kids sign up they receive a Johnny Appleseed Welcome Kit that includes a calendar, membership card and dime saver.

Johnny Appleseed encourages good savings habits and gives parents and grandparents a way to help instill the traditional values of thrift and regular savings. Kids will also have fun learning about ecology. Johnny Appleseed teaches young club members the importance of preserving our environment and natural resources and encourages them to take an active role.
