Sound Credit Union has owned and operated the location since 1997.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cWe have more than 17,000 members who live within a five-mile radius of this branch,\u201d said Ryan Zilker, Executive Chief Growth Officer of Sound Credit Union. \u201cWhile we have made improvements to the facility over the years, the time is right to invest in a new branch that will enhance the member experience and strengthen our ability to serve the Parkland community for decades to come.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Following demolition of the existing structure, construction will begin on a new branch at the same location. Sound partnered with BCRA to design the new facility, and Korsmo Construction will serve as general contractor for the project.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Construction is expected to take approximately nine to twelve months, with the new branch anticipated to open in the second quarter of 2027.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">During construction, members may continue accessing Sound&#8217;s products and services through its digital banking channels and at any of its other 25 full-service locations throughout the Puget Sound region.
