- If you receive an unsolicited phone call, do not provide the caller with your account number, passwords, or PINs.
- When reading emails and text messages, don’t click on a link without confirming the message is legitimate.
- Should you receive a suspicious phone call, verify that it’s authentic by calling them back using the phone number published on the company’s official website.
- When creating an online password, use the recommended minimum of 8 characters including 1 letter, 1 number and 1 special character.
Scams can come in many forms: email, text, a phone call, or mail. A scammer may even show up at your front door.
