Expect to see most of our digital channels and sites update quickly. Over the next several months and years, we will rebrand each branch’s signage, ATMs, member documents and forms, debit and credit cards, checks and anywhere else our logo appears today.
Sound debit cards, credit cards and checks that have the previous logo will continue to work without interruption. You can expect to receive new debit and credit cards during your original reissue cycle. Checks can be reordered as needed either through Online Banking, at a branch location or by calling our Contact Center at 800-562-8130.
This new logo and brand identity better represents Sound and better illustrates who we are and what we stand for. Our new brand identity will provide focus and direction to assist with future initiatives.
Our purpose, “to stand with you through all waves of life,” aims to support members, employees and the community. In times of celebration and uncertainty, Sound is here to support, advise and stand alongside one another.
We recently discovered that our mission, vision, and purpose statements were not resonating with employees, and were relatively unknown among our members and the communities we serve. After learning these insights, we engaged a range of members, community leaders, employees and partners and embarked on rediscovering our purpose and brand identity.
Our purpose has not changed throughout this process, but moving forward it will be more accurately represented.
The new logo symbolizes “togetherness” and reflects the colors of the Puget Sound and our history. The logo mark is like a school of fish – each unique in its own size and color, and more powerful when working together.
Sound is invested in “we” and our visual brand identity is meant to embody how we stand with our members, employees and community through all waves of life.
As a member, you can expect the same financial service and support that Sound has been committed to for over 78 years.
Other than a new logo on the wall and in the corner of your debit card, there are no direct changes that will affect you or our financial processes and policies.
