Meet our Board of Directors
John H. Bauder
John was elected to the Sound Credit Union Board of Directors in 2016.
Barry J. Wallis
Mr. Wallis’ connection to Sound Credit Union runs deep as he owns the Historic Sunset Telephone and Telegraph building.
Altaf G. Merchant, Ph.D.
Dr. Merchant was appointed to the Board in 2017, and elected to the Board in 2018.
Shelley R. Coleman
Shelley Coleman joined Sound Credit Union as a member of the Audit Committee in 2009 and was elected to the Board of Directors in 2012.
Haluk Demirkan, Ph.D.
Haluk Demirkan, Ph.D., was appointed to the Board in 2017, was elected to the Board in 2018, and also elected to the Audit Committee in 2020.
Brenda M. Goodson-Moore
Brenda was appointed to the Board in 2020, and was elected to the Board in 2021.
James W. Griggs CPA
Jim joined the Sound Credit Union Board of Directors and Audit Committee in 2018.
Terry Pentimonti CPA
Terry was elected to the Sound Credit Union Board of Directors and the Audit Committee in 2022.
David J. Wasson
He began his service at Sound as a member of the Supervisory Committee in 1989, and became a member of the Board in 1994.
